Carpetright to axe 25% of head office staff as it cuts costs

Carpetright is looking to axe more than 25% of its head office staff as part of a cost-cutting process.
According to Sky News, the retailer has informed staff that around 70 jobs would be lost as it looked to streamline operations.
The redundancies will affect Carpetright’s base in Purfleet, Essex, but will not impact stpre staff.
