Why Leeds needs a tram

Centre for Cities - The Government has reiterated its commitment to support the delivery of mass transit in West Yorkshire but following extensive preparatory work by West Yorkshire Combined Authority, progress is slow. In the next iteration of the business case, the authority must make the case for a tram over buses before any planning work can continue, pushing back service commencement to the late 2030s.
