£1.2 million power upgrade benefits Bromley

UK Power Networks has invested a £1.2 million to upgrade the electricity network for residents in the Ruxley area of Bromley.
The upgrade includes the installation of a modern electricity transformer at a local substation, maintaining reliable power supplies to thousands of homes and businesses.
The electricity distributor, which serves around 20 million people across London, the South East and East of England, has installed a new transformer that steps down voltage from 33,000 to 11,000 v
