Walter the fatberg-fighting Wasteater joins Biffa’s monster truck fleet

A new sewer sludge slurping Wasteater has joined waste management firm, Biffa’s fleet of head-turning ‘monster’ trucks.
Unlike its trade waste chomping cousins, Walter sucks up grease, silt and muck from drains, sewers, gullies and culverts.
Fallen twigs and leaves, along with festive cooking fat poured down the sink, can all contribute to an increase in blocked pipes and flooding at this time of year.
