British hospitality workers lack food safety, says research

This is a concern for customers with allergies and intolerances. There have been several allergy-related deaths in recent years including Natasha Ednan-Laperouse who died after suffering an allergic reaction to a Pret a Manger baguette.
The research also found over half of hospitality leaders (53%) think that UK hospitality staff lack the work ethic of their European colleagues.
