The World Bank stated that Syria’s gross domestic product (GDP) is expected to grow by a modest 1% in 2025, following a contraction of 1.5% in 2024. In a statement released Monday, July 7, the World Bank noted that the easing of sanctions offers some positive potential, but overall progress remains limited.
