US proposes USD 70,000 fee for student work programme

Washington: The US Department of Homeland Security has proposed charging $70,000 for international students seeking initial participation in the Optional Practical Training programme, a sweeping change that could sharply increase the cost of obtaining post-study work experience in the United States.
