Philippine VP Duterte impeachment: Supreme Court junks challenge to Senate voting threshold

The Philippine Supreme Court (SC) dismissed on Wednesday petitions challenging the Senate Impeachment Court’s interpretation of the two-thirds vote required to convict Vice President Sara Duterte and remove her from office.
