High cloud moving in ahead of a frontWidespread hard frost this morning, beware of icy conditions on roads and pavements. Frost will stay in the ground all day out of direct sunlight as temperatures remain chilly despite the sunshine. Some hazy mist patches in low-lying spots inland.High cloud will start to encroach across the sky ahead of a frontal system over the Atlantic pushing in. This will bring rain to the west coast of Scotland, moving into Ireland too. Snow flurries will develop inland
