Vets are quitting over the 'trauma' of having to put dogs down - as shortages put nation's health at risk

The warning was issued by the Public Accounts Committee (PAC), who said a shortage of vets was putting the country at risk of a serious outbreak of animal disease, such as bird flu or foot and mouth.
