Man killed his wife and then microwaved their beloved dog to death

Police found a woman's body stabbed to death, locked in a bedroom in an apartment strewn with rotting food, dog poo and pills. They also found a Pomeranian microwaved to death before the man responsible was found at the Canadian border.
