Sony Confirms PlayStation Disc Production Will End In 2028

Sony has officially confirmed that it will be ending the production of physical discs for PlayStation consoles, starting January 2028. In a new blog update, the company says that it made the decision based on how physical game disc sales have begun to decline, and going forward, all new games will be available through the PlayStation Store and at retailers in digital formats only.This story is developing.
