The next Gears of War game, Gears of War: E-Day, was reportedly planned for release on PlayStation 5, but is no longer coming to the system.According to Jeff Grubb, who has accurately reported on numerous unannounced games industry news over the years, "Gears of War: E-Day was going to be on PS5--it's not anymore. That just happened. That's a decision that just got made." Grubb said this on the eve of the Xbox Games Showcase.
