Meet Slavko Vincic, the 2026 final referee

Slovenia’s Slavko Vincic will officiate his maiden FIFA World Cup final when football heavyweights Argentina and Spain meet in Sunday’s title clash. While the 46-year-old will become the first Slovenian to referee a World Cup final, he arrives with an impressive European résumé, having taken charge of the 2023-24 UEFA Champions League final and the 2021-22 UEFA Europa League final.
