Abia South Senatorial candidate of the Labour Party (LP) in the February 25 National Assembly elections, Chief Chinedu Onyeizu, at the weekend, escaped assassination, as three gunmen invaded his home in Obingwa, near Aba, Abia State.
Onyeizu, who was in the state to attend the burial of late former national chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Chief Vincent Ogbulafor, in Olokoro, Umuahia, was heading home when he got a call from Senator Darlington Nwokocha,
