LAWMA issues Ebola preparedness advisory to health facilities

The Lagos Waste Management Authority (LAWMA) has issued a precautionary advisory to health facilities and medical waste handlers following the Ebola outbreak in parts of East Africa.The Managing Director of LAWMA, Dr Muyiwa Gbadegesin, gave the advisory in a statement on Friday in Lagos.Gbadegesin said the directive was aimed at strengthening preparedness and ensuring strict compliance with infection prevention and medical waste management protocols.He stressed that no confirmed case of Ebola V
