Iwobi, Akpan join Super Eagles camp in Lisbon, Chukwueze expected

Super Eagles midfielder Alex Iwobi and defender Christian Akpan have joined Nigeria’s training camp in Lisbon as preparations continue for the international friendly against Portugal.Iwobi linked up with his teammates on Thursday after missing Nigeria’s recent friendly against Poland, boosting the squad ahead of the encounter with the Portuguese side.Akpan, who plays for KRC Genk, received his maiden Super Eagles invitation following the withdrawal of several players from the squad.
