Customs to begin 100% cargo scanning at Onne Port, eases emergency protocol
By Daniel Abia, Port HarcourtThe Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) has announced plans to commence 100 per cent scanning of imported cargoes, including pharmaceutical products, at the Onne Port in Rivers State as part of efforts to tighten surveillance and prevent the entry of illicit goods into the country.The service said the measure was aimed at tracking dangerous consignments, especially those involving illegal importation of drugs and other prohibited items through the port.The National Public
