Disabled wife 'abandoned' at Kolkata hospital with Rs 1 crore bill; can’t be thrown out, says HC
The Calcutta High Court deferred to April 21 the hearing on a paralysed woman allegedly abandoned at Apollo Hospital for over two years, as Advocate General Kishore Dutta was unavailable. The hospital claimed it’s the state’s duty to shelter her since the husband said he can't care for her. The woman has lost speech and mobility.
