SLB originally wanted to cast Fawad-Mahira in Heeramandi

Sanjay Leela Bhansali's 'Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar', originally a film concept, was set to feature a completely different star cast. The director in a recent chat in LA, shared that he came up with the idea of 'Heeramandi' almost 18 years ago and thought of Pakistani actors Fawad Khan and Mahira Khan to lead his story.
