Former Spitfires captain Luchuk named OHL's top overage player
Former Windsor Spitfires captain Aaron Luchuk was a landslide winner of the Ontario Hockey League’s Top Overage Player of the Year on Wednesday.
The 21-year-old Luchuk received 89 of a possible 95 points to easily take the award over Kingston goalie Jeremy Helvig, who received 40 points, and Niagara forward Sam Miletic, who received 35 votes.
