Sawmill closures ‘gut-wrenching’ amid lumber industry headwinds: Canfor CEO

The Fox Creek, Alta. sawmill is closing because there's not enough fibre in the region to sustain it long-term, coupled with U.S. tariffs and weak markets, the company said.
