Regional chair appointments 'undemocratic' say civic leaders, calling on Ford to reverse course

The group that represents all 444 of Ontario’s municipalities says Doug Ford’s push to appoint regional chairs is undemocratic and needs to be reversed. But the premier is defending the move this week, arguing that he’s just entrenching a practice that was already underway in some regions.
