Thursday's letters: Infrastructure, funding the real problem in health care

The premier’s “dual-practice” expertise most certainly is in the realm of not telling the whole truth while not actually telling an outright lie. Her statement, “I’ll be making sure that there’s no hospital that does fewer surgeries next year than they did last year” is a clever bit of deception when viewed in the context of her announcement only three months ago that we plan to spend $809 million to increase the number of surgeries in the province.
