Opinion: Alberta's next top doctor must be seen, heard and trusted

As Alberta confronts yet another measles outbreak, the stakes for our province’s health leadership couldn’t be higher. Immunization rates are dangerously low, public trust in science is fraying, and misinformation continues to spread faster than the viruses we’re trying to contain. In this moment of uncertainty, one position stands above the rest in its ability to protect the health of all Albertans: the chief medical officer of health (CMOH). And yet, time and again, this cruc
