Sparwood vehicle fire being investigated as arson

Elk Valley RCMP is investigating a recent vehicle fire in Sparwood as arson.
On August 10 at approximately 3:15 a.m., Elk Valley Regional RCMP officers were called to a residence in the 200 block of Pine Avenue in Sparwood by the Sparwood Fire Department. A vehicle parked in the carport of a residence there had caught fire.
Fortunately, everyone who was in the residence was found safe and were not injured.
