Survey shows support for tax increase, maintained services ahead of 2026 Budget release

Just days away from the tabling of Strathcona County’s 2026 Budget, elected officials have an idea of how comfortable some residents would be if taxes go up. Back in the summer, a survey conducted by Y Station Communications and Research found that the majority of respondents were comfortable with increasing taxes and maintaining services (31 per cent).
