Strathcona RCMP Detachment locks down after officer shoots individual in parking lot

One person remains in hospital after being shot by a police officer outside of the Strathcona County RCMP detachment on Monday. Around 10:30 a.m., local Mounties observed an individual with what appeared to be a firearm in the detachment’s rear staff only parking lot, located on east side of the building at 911 Bison Way.
