Fire restriction in effect for Strathcona County

With warmer and dryer than normal conditions, local firefighters have been busy fighting wildfires on multiple fronts. In response to the windy and dry conditions, a fire restriction was issued for Strathcona County on Monday afternoon, May 5. The restriction applies to both the urban and rural areas throughout the municipality. Under the restriction, are fires and firework permits are suspended until further notice.
