Thessalon, Richards Landing ERs to shutter this week

Two east Algoma emergency departments will shutter this week due to ongoing doctor shortages.  North Shore Health Network said Tuesday morning the Matthews site ED, in Richards Landing on St. Joseph Island, will close Wednesday, at 8 a.m., and reopen 8 a.m. Thursday.
