Suspended driver was behind wheel: OPP

A man who wasn’t supposed to drive was allegedly found behind the wheel in Elliot Lake. He was seen on Spruce Avenue on April 12, Ontario Provincial Police say. Andrew Hepburn, 28, of Elliot Lake, was charged with operation while prohibited, fail to comply with probation order, driving while under suspension, while suspended under Highway Traffic Act and two counts driving while under suspension. His court date is June 12 in Elliot Lake. The accused’s vehicle was impounded.
