Shoemaker congratulates Sheehan and three other Saultites on federal election wins

Mayor Matthew Shoemaker offered his congratulatory remarks to MP Terry Sheehan Tuesday – and three other former Saultities who were also sent to Ottawa in their riding.   “I want to congratulate all the candidates locally who ran, and, I want to congratulate the re-elected Prime Minister, Mr. (Mark) Carney,” Shoemaker said at the start of the council meeting.   This is Sheehan’s fourth term in office, something unheard of in Sault Ste.
