Sault Ste. Marie-Algoma final election poll tallied

The final poll has been counted and in the end, the race to represent Sault Ste. Marie-Algoma at Parliament wasn’t all that close.   With the final poll finally recorded on Elections Canada website, Liberal incumbent Terry Sheehan has received 30,271 votes (47.3 per cent) to Conservative Hugh Stevensen’s 28,648 votes (44.8 per cent).  There were 1,623 votes that separated the top two candidates.   New Democratic Party challenger Laura Mayer received 4,215 votes (6.6 p
