Sault Police Services blow 2024 budget by about $2.5 million

The Sault Ste. Marie Police Services have gone over their 2024 budget by millions of dollars, senior officials at the City of Sault Ste. Marie have learned.   CAO Tom Vair confirmed reports that finance staff at the city discovered the overage while completing its year end reports.
