Man walks with stolen shotgun in Sault's downtown

A man walked downtown with a stolen shotgun and 23 rounds of ammunition stashed in a shopping bag last fall. Shawn Seymour was seen by police walking on Hynes Street on Sept. 5, assistant Crown attorney Blair Hagan told court on Thursday.Seymour was wanted by police at the time. He was stopped on lower East Street.Defence lawyer Leah Policchio said Seymour did not plan to use the weapon and understands he shouldn’t have had the firearm. Seymour pleaded guilty to five offences related to t
