Impaired Sault drive 'lucky' he didn't hit anyone

A man nearly four times over the legal limit “got lucky” when he didn’t hurt anyone else in a single-vehicle collision early in the year. Craig Murphy crashed his vehicle at a median at Wellington Street East and East Street on Jan. 7, Ontario Court Justice Matthew Caputo heard Wednesday. Police could smell a strong odour of alcohol in Murphy’s vehicle when they responded. Murphy, 39, pleaded guilty to having a blood/alcohol level of more than 80 milligrams and dangerous
