Driver arrested for fleeing police

A driver stopped by Batchewana First Nation Police after it pulled a u-turn in front of the officer is facing charges.   The driver was stopped and requested the driver’s documents before he drove away.   Two nearby Garden River Anishinabek Police offers assisted.   A second vehicle stop was attempted and the driver tried to flee by intentionally backing into a cruiser, a press release states.   The vehicle then drove into a nearby ditch and the driver was arrested. &n
