City gets nearly $440,000 for hosting casino
City of Sault Ste. Marie received $438,215 from Ontario Lottery and Gaming for hosting Gateway Casinos Sault Ste. Marie during the fourth quarter. The municipality received $1,780,887 from OLG during the past fiscal year ending March 31, a release says. Total payments since the casino opened in May 1999 stand at $37,067,506.
