Child dies in ATV collision in Plummer Additional Township

A child died following a collision of two all-terrain vehicles in Plummer Additional Township on Friday.The crash happened in a field on Cloudslee Road at about 7 p.m., Ontario Provincial Police say. An eight-year-old youngster was ejected and died later at North Shore Health Network in Thessalon. The child’s name and place of residence were not released by police.A post-mortem will be done in Sudbury at a later date. A police investigation continues.
