Charges Laid - Assault with a Weapon - 600 Block of Avenue X South

A woman was arrested and faces charges in relation to an assault early Monday morning.At around 2:50 a.m. on September 7, 2026, police were called to the 600 block of Avenue X South for an assault in progress. Call information outlined that a man was attacked by a woman with a knife.Upon police arrival, officers located the 24-year-old male victim. Officers learned the man was in a stairwell when an unknown woman approached him and threatened to stab him before running away. There are not believ
