Arrest - Assault with a Weapon - 1400 Block of Idylwyld Drive

Saskatoon Police arrested one woman in relation to an incident involving a knife during a cab ride early this morning.On August 18, 2026 at approximately 12:40 a.m., police were called to the 1400 block of Idylwyld Drive North for a weapons call where it was reported that a male cab driver had a knife and attempted to stab a woman. Police also received a call for service that outlined a woman had pulled a knife on a cab driver.Arriving officers located a man and woman standing outside of a cab.
