One man was arrested following an assault on a police officer yesterday.Shortly before 9:00 p.m. on June 24, 2026, police were called to a business in the 3100 block of 8th Street East for a report of a man believed to be under the influence of an intoxicant causing a disturbance. Upon police arrival, the man immediately became verbally confrontational and refused to cooperate.
