Arrest - Assault / Assault P.O. - 200 Block 1st Avenue South

One woman was arrested following an assault at a mall today.At around 12:00 p.m. today, May 21, 2025, police were called to a mall in the 200 block of 1st Avenue South for a report of an assault. Upon arrival, officers learned that a woman was paying for merchandise at a business in the mall when she was approached by another woman and physically assaulted; the suspect and victim were not known to one another. The suspect then fled the business but was detained by mall security a short time late
