Tara Gereaux is now part of a select group of Saskatchewan authors who have been on the shortlist for the Giller Prize, one of Canada’s most prestigious literary awards. Gereaux’s book, Wild People Quiet, is set in 1940s rural Saskatchewan and explores the repercussions of a Métis woman’s decision to pass as white in a small Prairie town.Gereaux is joined on this year's shortlist by Michelle Good, also from Saskatchewan.
