Where's the beef? Lambton Cattlemen's Association hosts 42nd fundraising barbecue

The Lambton Cattlemen’s Association had some folks over for supper.More than 900, actually.The association of local cattle farmers held its 42nd annual beef barbecue Wednesday at the Brooke-Alvinston Arena, dishing out 1,000 pounds of beef along with baked potatoes, corn on the cob, beans, buns, coleslaw and pie.“It originally started small at a farm with hamburgers,” said Blair Williamson with the 400-member association. “Now we feed more than 1,000 people a year.&rdquo
