Walpole Island slaying: Convict can't seek parole for 14 years

The man convicted of second-degree murder and kidnapping by a Sarnia jury in a grisly 2021 Walpole Island homicide probe will spend at least 14 years in prison before he can seek parole.Jahton Blair, 45, who has ties to Windsor and the Toronto area, pleaded not guilty Feb. 10 at the Sarnia courthouse to first-degree murder and kidnapping.
