Wallaceburg's Lord Selkirk Bridge closed to vehicles

Those who drive on or under the Lord Selkirk Bridge in Wallaceburg will have to take a detour for the foreseeable future.The crossing has been closed to vehicles by the Municipality of Chatham-Kent out of an abundance of safety.According to the municipality, a mechanical issue means that the bridge isn't able to open for marine traffic that requires it.Pedestrians will still be able to cross.
