United Way announces $1.5M target for fundraising campaign

After narrowly missing the target last year, the United Way of Sarnia-Lambton has once again set a fundraising goal of $1.5 million for its fall campaign.The announcement was made during the Sarnia Sting's annual Black and White game, in support of the charitable organization.Last year, despite strong community support, the initiative finished at 97 per cent, or $42,682 away from reaching its goal.Spokesman Bruce McDonald said they're still funding 27 programs at 16 different comm
