Sarnia, top bureaucrat deny claims in politician's $200K lawsuit

Chris Carter acknowledges he’s Sarnia’s chief administrator, Bill Dennis is a councillor, and he did email Dennis on May 9, 2024, barring the councillor from communicating with city staff except through the CAO. “Each and every other claim” made by Dennis in a $200,000 lawsuit against the city and Carter “is denied” unless otherwise specified, says a statement of defence for Carter and the city, filed Nov. 17.
