Road work resumes in Point Edward

A now-$7.3-million St. Clair and Lite streets rebuild in Point Edward has resumed. Crews with Cope Construction, who took over the project after the village cut ties with contractor McNally last July, began work between Michigan and Alexandra avenues a month ago, and are pulverizing south to Bridge Street starting Thursday, Point Edward’s Jim Burns said.
